About the builder

I'm a builder.
Everything else is a consequence.

I build systems, brands, products, experiences and worlds. Mostly because ideas have a terrible habit of refusing to leave me alone.

01 / Learning

I believe almost anything can be learned.

Talent is useful. Curiosity, passion and sustained work are more useful. If something fascinates me long enough, I study it, break it apart, rebuild it and stay with it until it becomes another language I can speak.

I did not learn design, development, branding, packaging, business and storytelling to become more intelligent. I learned them to expand.

I'm not collecting skills. I'm expanding the size of the world I can build.

02 / Network thinking

I don't think in straight lines. I think in systems.

One idea becomes ten. A website becomes a product. A product becomes a brand. A market becomes a community. A random conversation becomes an ecosystem. ADHD probably has something to do with it.

I notice relationships between things that appear unrelated, then build the structure that makes them useful together.

03 / Manifestation

Manifestation isn't magic. It's hyperfocus wearing a prettier outfit.

I do believe I have a brutal power of manifestation. Mostly because when an idea takes hold, I work toward it relentlessly. I study. I connect. I build. I keep walking until reality catches up.

04 / Conversation

Small talk is a poor use of a perfectly good human brain.

Entrepreneurship, consciousness, politics, football, human behavior, design, technology, beauty science, books, cooking, strange theories and wildly paranoid comparisons that somehow become useful. I am probably the right person for the conversation nobody else knows how to categorize.

05 / The life behind the work

The important part is surprisingly simple.

My daughter is my greatest pride. My dogs are small emotional dictators. They are the center of the private universe behind all this building.

06 / Success

I am not trying to join the million-dollar club.

Money is useful. Freedom is the point. I want a life that lets me expand, travel, experiment, build beautiful things and make sure my daughter never lacks experiences or opportunities.

Apparently my energy arrives before I do. I have no plans to argue with that.
